Aki Kurose is a diverse public Middle School in south Seattle, WA. In fact, the majority of students are of African American, Latino or Asian descent. Aki Kurose has 585 students who attend grades 6-8. The school strives to create a learning environment where all students can learn, and they work with community organizations such as Gear Up and the YMCA to extend that learning beyond the classroom.
